Summary Tableland

What I understood
I have understood the main idea of the documentary, to focuses on idyllic scenes, bountiful farmers markets, and gourmet cooking. The interviewees discuss why their ventures are good for the earth, why they're better for people's health, why they create better-tasting products, and how this kind of eating is ultimately more satisfying on a human level. However, this isn't just self-promotion–these people are passionate about what they do. Most are sustainable-food-system activists, and their arguments make sense.
What I enjoyed
The part of the movie that I preferred is when the young child helped his dad and how he was interested in what he was doing. He was listening with close attention to what his dad told him and he would do the exact same thing right after.
What I found difficult
There are too many character changes; it makes it really hard to follow what’s being said by one and what the other says afterwards. They were, indeed, all talking about the same subject but still, I found that part difficult.
What really worked?
I enjoyed the part when they explain how they make beer because I had never seen that on TV or in person. Honestly, I had never even heard about how it was done.
What you might change
As I said a couple of lines higher, the switch of persons interviewed was too quick. That will confuse people for sure. The thing that I would have change 100% sure is the length because it is a documentary, not a movie.
What I learned
The individuals pay a certain amount of money to the farmer up-front and he receives a share of what the farm produces.
Question I still have
Well, it is not really a question, but why do the cook at the end of the documentary keeps his ring when he’s making food. I understand and hope that he washes his hands every time he stars making food but wearing jewels in your hands while touching something other humans while eat later is not hygienic.

Summary Road raggers in the sky

Road raggers in the sky
Nowadays, there are more air rage incidents in all Airlines companies than before. The problem is apparently caused by the work men.
The big problems occur when there is a long delay where the passengers have to wait without having access to food, drinks or even information. A single person as much as a group is concern by this growing situation.
The airline psychology is a new study where there is almost as many explanations as there are examples. Some could blame the alcohol abuse, but others would think that the problem is the airlines company themselves.
One of the main reasons is when owners need to cut some money and they do it by reducing the number of flight attendants. That lowers the capability of the remaining flight attendants to serve everyone in the best way possible.
There are rumors about airlines companies in the United States cutting in the ventilation cabin.
One other problem that causes the occupants’ madness is when the company responsible for that flight gives the order to the flight crew to run the air systems on the minimum setting.
A web site where the passengers can go and put their demands or what they didn’t like about a past trip (ex: The service) has been created.
The biggest companies have announced that they will react to those complaints by removing seats to make more room for their customers.

Product report
Executive summary
Two days ago we held a meeting where we decided that 11 percent of our workers, which means 6000 employees, are going to lose their jobs gradually over the next five months due to the fact that we have had a big drop in our orders over the last few years. We are doing our best to re-locate those employees.
Introduction
This report is being made to make sure that we do our best to ensure the continuation of our other plants so the same doesn’t happen to them. Employees with 10 years or more of seniority will be send to our other locations and the rest will receive a money compensation depending on how long they have been with us.
Findings
Here are both detailed solutions that we have found:
- Our older workers, which represent approximately 3 % of the 6000 that are going to lose their jobs, will be relocated to our exterior plants either inside the province or outside of it. We will also give those same employees the choice to leave Canada and continue to work for us in another country. All plants directors will do their best to integrate the new employees and will see if they can do the same work in their new building.

- The rest of the workers will receive a cash compensation about a month after their last paycheck. The numbers on the check will depend on how long the person has been working for the company and will be based on a pre-determined percentage which is different in all domains. A man or a woman making $ 40 000 will receive between $ 15 000 & $20 000 depending on what he was doing on a daily basis.
Conclusion
We know people are going to be disappointed and some of them are going to be real mad but we are doing the best we can in the situation that we are in.
Recommendation
The next meeting will be the last one before the big announcement to the targeted staff. The best we could do until then is to get information from plant directors on their jobs posted so we’ll be able to give everyone the most information on where they could be transfer.
